ANIMAL MEDICINE JOURNEY 
This is the simplest medicine bag that can be created, which also doubles as an altar. Receive gifts from our creature teachers and their stories, plus a meditative guided journey to become different creatures.
FEATHERS AS MEDICINE TOOLS
Create a sewn leather handle for a single large feather, bring your own feather or they can be supplied. Decorate with smaller feathers, fur, fringing, beads and paint. Learn to use your feather for healing and space clearing, keeping the feather cleansed, storing, transporting and free of feather eating mites. The skill of making a sewn leather handle is also used on rattles and drumbeaters.

MAKING
Create beautiful leather medicine bags to hold your sacred items. Learn pattern making, how to select the best pieces, cut, sew, fringe and decorate. This class will give you skills and confidence to purchase leather and create pouches in different sizes. You may like to bring along favourite trinkets to decorate the front of your pouch.

In this workshop you will create your own runes from rawhide with sacredness and ceremony, meditating on each to imprint in them your energy. After lunch, make a beautiful soft deerskin bag to contain their energy and keep them safe. 1 day workshop, includes a ready reference guide to each rune that will fit into your bag reminding you of their messages. 
Make a snakeskin wristband trimmed with deerskin and either laced with kangaroo or sewn with sinew, made to fit you personally. Snakeskin is limited in availability. 
Custom make a hand sewn leather bag to fit your flute, with a front flap and carry strap. Bring your own leather for guidance only or leather can be supplied. 
This workshop is to create fans out of multiple feathers and complete bird wings. Bring along your own wings, feather sets or Morning Star can provide wings from domestic birds. To share simple skills, assisting you to put them together into usable medicine tools. 
Making your own rattle is a fun way to learn about rawhide and creation. Unlimited possibilities await you, limited by your imagination. Bring along a handle of bone, antler or wood - feathers, trinkets, talismens, herbs and animal medicine - for inside your creation. (Held over 2 separate sessions to allow rattles to dry or if there is an oven available, another workshop, such as medicine bags can be created while we wait for the rattles to dry).
A fun weekend workshop full of play, creation, storytelling, meditation, journeying, ceremony, healings and earth teachings. As you learn about rawhide, create your own medicine drum, rattle and drumbeater. This is a journey into the self beginning on a Friday and ending on Sunday evening. Bless the waters the rawhide enters into, ceremoniously cutt the drum head and strapping from an entire skin, play with the soft leathers, feathers and beads as you embark on a journey into the self.
